Two Great Uses for Vintage Books and a Giveaway

I have always had a love for antiques--especially antique books.  Scattered throughout my home are vintage books dating as far back as 150 years.  I especially love ones that still have the original bindings with inscriptions neatly penned inside.  The intrigue behind wondering who the previous owner was is fascinating...
Like who was Mr. U.L. Secrist who once owned my 1899 copy of Schiller's Maid of Orleans?

Here are two great uses for these lovely collectibles...
My love of antique books is what lead me to the fabulous Etsy shop Jaysworld with its vast collection of vintage books.
You may remember that Jamie, the shop owner, recently gave one lucky reader of TLofJD a custom collection of vintage books.  Well, guess what...

Get excited!  Another giveaway...

Follow the directions below to win a custom collection of vintage books valued at $60 in the color(s) of your choice.
Happy entering!
Be sure to visit Jamie and her fantastic shop!

  4. I would pick one to use for crafts and hand made cards. The rest I would covet because I love vintage books...the smell of them, the feeling of the paper, and the stories they tell!

  23. I'd use them for decor! I've got a little reading nook and right now there's nothing on the table but a lamp. Old books would be the perfect finishing touch!
