Birchbox Review

Birchbox has remained one of my favorite subscription boxes for years. My skin care and make-up regime usually consists of a cleanser, moisturizer, light foundation, blush or bronzer on the cheeks, mascara, and a little lipstick or gloss. I keep things simple and natural. Ever since subscribing to Birchbox, I've not had to purchase any other make-up. Yes, you read that right. My Birchbox subscription has been able to cover all of my skin care and make-up wants. (Notice I said wants instead of needs. That's because, ladies, we are beautiful without a shred of make-up on our faces. Beauty products sure are a lot of fun to play around with though!) With Birchbox I don't make any beauty purchases at drugstores or department stores, here's why...

What is it?
Birchbox is a subscription company and online shop for beauty and lifestyle products. There are two subscription options for women. You can pay $10/month for 5 sample products or $30/month for 5 sample products and 2 full-size products. Since I am a stay at home mom on a budget, I do the $10/month option.

The Best Part!
When you purchase a subscription (or make any other purchases), you earn points. Here's the part that a lot of people don't take advantage of... You can also earn points for reviewing the products that come in your box each month. It takes me mere minutes to fill out the review forms for the five products. (5 reviews=50 points=$5 to spend in the Birchbox shop) I save my points up use them to get FREE beauty products. Out of mascara? Not a problem! I can simply redeem my points for a FREE, full-size mascara of my choice.

What's inside?
My boxes have come with things like eye creams, moisturizers, foundation, hair products, nail polish and more! Here is what my last box had inside...
Benefit Posie Balm: This is perfect for spring! I have loved using this pink tinted balm!
Bee Kind Shampoo
Miss Jessie's Hair Treatment
Marcelle Eye Make-up Remover: Yes! I was almost out. I have on my profile that I have sensitive skin. Birchbox paid attention and sent a make-up remover that's perfect for me.
Sumita Eyeliner: I don't EVER wear eyeliner. Unfortunately, I keep receiving them in my boxes. It's fine though because I just give them to my mom. If I want something else, I still have those points to spend!
