Burlap Canvas Children's Wall Art
Want to create a unique piece of art for your child's nursery, playroom, or bedroom? Here's an idea that's simple and adds a cute, personal touch to the room.
I've been chipping away at room redos for the kids' rooms...one project at a time. These stenciled canvases were a great addition to boys' room. The "E" is for Eli and the "C" is for Caleb. Maybe it's a Southern thing--we do love our monograms--but I love to include their names or initials in the decor. You could use this idea to make all sorts of canvases though. Planes? Dinosaurs? Ballet slippers? All of these and more could be painted across a canvas to create a fun addition to your child's room.
Why spend a ton of money on expensive wall hangings, when you can easily and quickly make your own?! Keep reading to see how to make this craft for your home...

First Day of Kindergarten
Lydia Grace started kindergarten four weeks ago, and I'm just now getting around to sharing these with you. It's taken me a little while to figure out how to fit blogging into the equation since beginning our homeschool journey. I have so much to share with you though. Up to this point it has been an amazing adventure. There have been a few overwhelming times where I've doubted myself, had to tweak our schedule, or scrap one plan for another. That's just life though...
If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try, try again.
Right?
We'll save all of those details for another post though. For now, I'll leave you with the pictures of Lydia Grace heading out the door for her first day of co-op classes...
