Simple Easter Craft for Kids
Need an easy, last minute craft idea for Easter? Here's a fun option...
Materials:
- paper plate
- paint, markers, or crayons
- scissors
- paper and pencil or pen
- scissors
- glue
Directions:
- Let the kiddos paint or color a paper plate.
- Draw an egg on a piece of paper and cut it out to make a template.
- Use the template to cut out an egg shape from the center of a second paper plate. Glue that paper plate on top of the first framing your child's artwork in the shape of an egg. (If your kiddos are old enough, they can even make their own template and egg-shaped frame.)
Happy crafting!

10 Tiny Fingers and 10 Tiny Toes
There are times when I want to keep them small...
I know that the days will continue to slip away from me though...
They will continue to grow, mature, learn, and develop a little more each day...
At least pictures can preserve all of those little things that I don't want to let go of...
Happy memories!

Children's Wall Art
I've been working on redecorating Eli and Caleb's room. You may remember the design board that I created. (Click here to view it.) The nursery is almost done, but there are a few more things to sew and complete before I'm ready for the BIG reveal.
I've been stumped on what to display on one of the walls, but this weekend I worked on these printables that I think will be perfect...
Click, download, print, frame, and hang a few for yourself...
Happy decorating!

It's the Little Things
Life is full of
tiny...
unexpected...
PRECIOUS...
moments that bring feelings of pure joy.
Do you know what I'm talking about?
You are going along...
and there it is...
a simple moment in time that brings a smile to your face and happiness to your heart--
one precious gift of a moment that you completely were not expecting.
The other night, I walked out into the living room and found this...
Lydia Grace had fallen asleep reading her baby brother a bedtime story.
Completely warmed my heart!
Happy moments!

My Sweet Baby
Caleb Joseph
Such a blessing!
Each and every baby is a miracle. Tim and I know this...
Multiple miscarriages, my coagulation disorder, subchorionic hemorrhages and a weak heartbeat at the beginning of this pregnancy that lead the doctor to initially believe the pregnancy wouldn't last, and a scare on Saturday morning that sent us rushing to the hospital...
Yes, Caleb is a wonderful miracle!
I'm in love...
We all are--L.G. dotes over him and even Eli asks, "Where baby?", anytime he can't find him.
Our little family feels so complete.

Birthday Boy
Caleb Joseph has arrived!
We are doing well, and I'm so thrilled to have been blessed with another precious baby boy!
***
My sweet sister has thrown a 0th birthday party for each of my children in the hospital on the day of their birth. Caleb was no exception. You can see the cake she bought pictured below.
Happy birthday, baby!

Happy Sunday
When I find myself emotionally, physically, and mentally depleted, it helps to remember that I am never alone in life's journey...

Two Ways to Applique
Appliqueing is one of my favorite sewing techniques. It's an easy way to add a fun, personalized flair to cloth items like bibs, totes, onesies, t-shirts, blankets...
Want to learn how to applique or perhaps discover a new way that you haven't tried yet?
