ABC Weekends Are Back!

In case you are wondering what ABC Weekends are, you can click here for the long explanation.  The short explanation is that it is a little project that we have tried twice but haven't completed yet.  It is like a game where Tim and I take turns picking a family activity to do that weekend that starts with a certain letter of the alphabet going from A to Z.  It is a fun way to plan our family outings, but other things have interfered with us making it to Z.  This time we are determined!  I picked first and this weekend we started back at the beginning with A.  Like this idea?  I would love for your family to join us in our quest to reach Z.  Let me know if you do.  I would love to link them up.

 is for Animated Movie!

Lydia Grace saw her first movie at the theater today--TANGLED.  So cute!  Considering that she is only 22 months, we were a little hesitant to give this a try, but she did AWESOME!  The two ladies next to us were amazed that she was so attentive to the movie.  She sat in her daddy's lap the whole time looking like this...
 and this...
I promise that I did not take these during the movie.  I waited until the credits came on and the theater cleared to take pictures.  I didn't want to disturb our fellow movie goers with my photo happy self.  Yep, she was THAT interested in the credits.  Does that give you any idea as to how engrossed in the movie she was?

Of course, she had to say hi to Alvin.

L.G. had so much fun, I think she was a little sad to leave.

Proving that having a 5 star good time is as easy as ABC!

*If you and your family give this idea a try, please let me know.  I would love to add a link to your ABC Weekends.
