Delicious Treats to Welcome Fall & Weekly Link Party

School starting back usually puts me in a mood for fall. We started back to homeschooling the first week in August but took a break last week for a beach vacation. I knew this year that our final summer hurrah at the beach would delay those fall-loving feelings. And it did until we pulled back into our driveway a few days ago and opened the car doors to a blast of cool air. We'd left the humid, beachy weather behind us somewhere on our trek back from the South Carolina coast to our beloved Tennessee mountains.

There is certainly nothing summery about homeschool lessons, cooler mornings, and busy schedules filled with dance lessons, soccer practices, and co-op classes. Shew! The hustle and bustle have already hit me hard this week. We'll fall (no pun intended) into a groove soon enough though. And there is so much to look forward to with the changing seasons! Fall has always been my favorite season, so I'm welcoming it with open arms and a big batch of fall baking.

These delicious recipes are filled with sugar and spice and everything nice. Afterall, isn't that what fall is made of? From warm breakfast treats to sugared nuts, there's something for everyone to love. And I'd be remiss if I didn't include at least one pumpkin recipe. Enjoy this round-up of tasty treats from some very talented bloggers.
1. Baked Brown Sugar Glazed Donuts / Simply Stacie
My kids love what they fondly call hot breakfast--even more during the fall and winter months. These homemade donuts would be the perfect treat for a warm, fall breakfast!

2. Hazelnut Mocha Cheesecake / The Simple Sweet Life
Nuts are a fall staple and hazelnut are one the first available for harvesting. This cheesecake pulls together hazelnuts, chocolate, and espresso into a perfect cheesecake creation. Who could resist?

3. Impossible Pie / Simply Stacie
What's fall without pie? The shredded coconut in this delicious pie recipe pulls the flavors of summer and the feel of fall together perfectly.

4. Homemade Toaster Strudels / Little House Living
Remember that hot breakfast I mentioned earlier? Here's a delicious treat to make for it! Use an apple filling and you'll have a homemade confection that will put the whole family in a mood for fall.

5. Spiced Almonds The Country Chic Cottage
Did someone ask for pumpkin spice? These sugared almonds bring the flavors of fall with this snackable treat that's both salty and sweet.

6. Ginger Pumpkin Bars From Playdates to Parties
And here it is! A pumpkin recipe! This recipe combines pumpkin and caramel together making it an irresistible treat.
Now it's time for...
