Crafting with Kids: Decoupaged Flower Pots

Here is a fun craft for spring! For those who are a bit faint of heart when it comes to crafting with kids, this is an easy one with only a few materials necessary.

What You'll Need:
Mod Podge
sponge brush
mini terracotta pots
small paper cut outs

I used these lovely vintage paper flowers from Pink Flamingo Ephemera. Any paper pieces will work though.

Directions:
1. Gather your supplies.
2. Use the sponge brush to apply a small amount of Mod Podge to one section of the pot.
3. Place a paper piece on that area. Brush an even coat of Mod Podge over the paper.
4. Continue applying the paper pieces with Mod Podge. Once you are done applying the paper cut outs, give the pot one final coat of Mod Podge to smooth and seal everything. Allow the terracotta pot to dry.

These make beautiful gifts. Just place a few seeds into a small kraft or glassine bag. Seal it with a sticker, and place the the seed packet inside the pot.
Happy crafting!
