Paint Chip Confetti

Want to add a little sparkle to your New Year's celebration?  Here's a fun idea...
Whether you are going out or staying in like us, confetti always makes things feel more festive.  Here's how to make your own paint chip confetti...

Materials
paint chips (or card stock)
various punches
Mod Podge (or glue)
paint brush
small plastic bag
glitter
glassine bags (I get mine from Hobbies from the Heart)
stickers or seals

Directions
1. Gather your materials.  Select paint chips or pieces of card stock that match the color scheme of the occasion.
2. Use your punches to punch out various paint chip pieces.
3. Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the wrong side of several of your punched out pieces.  Note: You'll only want to do this with some of your punches.  Others can be left plain.
4. Pour glitter into a plastic bag.  Drop the pieces that have been painted with Mod Podge into the bag and shake them around to give them a glitter coating.  Gently pull the punches out of the bag, tap off the excess glitter, and let them dry.  Place the paint chip punches, glittered pieces, and a little extra glitter into glassine bags.  Close your confetti bags with a sticker or seal until it is time to open them and celebrate!

Happy celebrating!
