Elephants. (Or as Lydia Grace calls them--"Elfonts".)
They are her favorite animal, so we planned a Sunday trip to the zoo to visit the elephants.

Going to the zoo is one of our favorite things to do as a family. We always have the best time, and this trip was no exception. It was a strangely comforting and peaceful outing despite the fears that Tim and I had both been battling over this current pregnancy. It was the first time since finding out we were pregnant again that I felt like we could actually act like a "normal" family (whatever that is). Well...act like the type of family that doesn't have to worry that everything could all come crashing down on them at any second. (Although if it does, I know God will lift us out of rubble, and hold us in the palm of his hand.) The weather was gorgeous, Lydia Grace was having a blast, and it just seemed as though everything was alright in our little world. God truly gave us a lovely Sunday together as a family.
Proving that having an enormously good time is as easy as ABC!
